We maintain two types of hybrid as part of our fleet: a Toyota Prius and a Cadillac Escalade. Both reduce emissions and save fuel without sacrificing the comfort you expect, with all-leather interiors and spacious, comfortable seating. The Cadillac Escalade also features a display that monitors the hybrid system, allowing our drivers to keep track of vehicle efficiency.
Our efforts don’t stop with our cars. Elite Global Chauffeurs has implemented a number of practices to keep our company responsible. By implementing efficient travel practices and monitoring employee business travel, we have worked to reduce our emissions and decrease our carbon footprint. A comprehensive reuse and recycle program cuts down on company waste. We monitor the carbon footprint of every trip chartered through our company, and provide our clients with regular GHG reports.
Our company chooses to partner with global affiliates whose environmental policies reflect our own, and we maintain our fleet ethically, utilizing nitrogen inflation on all of our vehicles, environmentally responsible driving practice, and constant updates to lower carbon vehicles and fuels. By following guidelines set by the United Nations Panel on Climate Change, and the EPA, we strive to do our part without sacrificing the luxury of our clients.

EGC Limo is a leader in environmental responsibility. As members of Green Ride Global™, EGC Limo has committed to GHG emissions reductions from all areas of the company’s business operations of 20 percent below 2010 levels over the next 5 years. If every NorthAmerican chauffeured ground transportation company committed to producing results similar to EGC Limo, collectively the industry would be making a significant contribution toward the reversal of global warming by annually saving over 490,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases -- the equivalent of removing 100,000 vehicles from the road, avoiding 1-million barrels of crude oil, and growing and protecting over 400,000 acres of carbon-absorbing forest.

Protocols & Standards
Green Ride Global ensures that EGC’s Carbon Accounting™ procedures follow the emissions factors used by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). EGC’s environmental measurements follow the ISO 14064 GHG Measurement Standards, and the principles and protocols of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the World Resources Institute (WRI).
EGC Limo is also a partner of the US EPA Climate Leaders Program. The Climate Leaders program is a US EPA industry-government partnership that provides recognition to companies developing long-term climate change strategies. Program participants set aggressive long-term greenhouse gas reduction goals and are required to annually report their progress in reaching these goals.
How Does EGC Limo’s Fleet Stack-Up Environmentally?
The following table represents the typical types of vehicles in EGC’s chauffeured sedan fleet. It includes the newest hybrid, clean diesel, and biofuel vehicles. (Not included are the vans, mini buses, shuttles and coaches). Of particular note is the carbon footprint of each vehicle. Even traditional fossil fuel powered vehicles have a lower carbon footprint in EGC’s fleet than the industry norm. This is being achieved through the Green Ride Global program. The carbon footprint of EGC’s fleet is tracked and audited by Green Ride Global. Green Ride Global issues quarterly environmental sustainability reports to EGC’s management team and stakeholders tracking the overall emissions against the annual emissions reduction targets. EGC’s participation in the US EPA Climate Leaders Program also requires compliance with annual emissions reduction targets and reporting.

Cadillac Escalade Hybrid
Cadillac’s innovative Escalade Hybrid is the world’s first hybrid full-size luxury SUV. Escalade Hybrid models seat up to eight, with generous cargo room available with the third-row seat removed. Leather-appointed seating is standard, along with an array of power-assisted and high-technology features, including a navigation system that also displays key readouts for the hybrid system.
